February, March and April’s proceeds went towards the fund raising for the Footstock Young Runners program. May, June and July’s proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club. Click here for more info.
Save your pennies and bring them to the Saturday Morning Runs or Drop them off yourself at Spray Lakes. We'll add them to the Penny Challenge started by Robin Whenham at Spray Lakes.

The Racing Season is upon us with people traveling near and far to compete. San Diego, Ottawa, Vulcan, Winnipeg, Cochrane, Wasa (BC), Great White North Triathlon and the Calgary Marathon. Congrats to all on their participation in their event of choice.
We are running (not a pun in sight!) a bus to and from the event....free to members and we will need to know how many are interested in using this free ride. In addition, if we register as a group, each member of each 10 person team will get a $5 discount on their registration!! I've received a few responses but not quite there on the first 10 people required in order to get the discount. So....check out the web site for race details: www.cause.ca/marathon So, I need to know: * Are you planning on going to the event? Don't register on your own! Print the form, sign it and get it to me asap. Each time I gather 10 forms, I'll send them in under the Club name so that we can take advantage of the reduced rate. * If you are going, do you wanna take the bus?? That I really need to know....so that we can get the right sized bus!!
