Bus to Canmore

We are, once again, offering a bus ride to Canmore for the Rocky Mountain events on September 7th. this year.  Details will follow but we do need to know if you are interested.  The Bus leaves in time to get everyone to their chosen event and returns once everyone has collected their medals!!  Okay...a little presumptuous but gotta think positive!! Let Annie know if you want a free ride ($2 for non members...or  a donation to the Food Bank).

Saturday Run Draw

If you come out on Saturday mornings for a run or just for coffee, bring a loonie for the Saturday Draw. Each loonie donated gives you a chance to win a $15 Gift Card for Guys Bakery /Cafe!!! And the money collected goes to a worthy cause. Proceeds from the first few months went to Cochrane Activettes – approx $150!!!. February, March and April’s proceeds went towards the fund raising for the Footstock Young Runners program. May, June and July’s proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club. Click here for more info.

Pennies for Robin

Save your pennies and bring them to the Saturday Morning Runs or Drop them off yourself at Spray Lakes.  We'll add them to the Penny Challenge started by Robin Whenham at Spray Lakes.

Million Penny Challenge Update. "We have collected our first 600,000 pennies. With your generous support we have filled our penny container 12 times and we have 8 more to go. Don't forget that every penny gets us closer to new facilities at your sports centre."  A great challenge initiated by a great lady!!!
